Artist Statement

I use various mediums to create texture & depth similar to the surface of trees that are found locally around Treaty No. 7 and Calgary area. The tree(s) that I create remind me we have more in common than we acknowledge. All of us keepers of our own journey, capable of creating shelter, giving life & trying to reach for the sunshine in ours lives.
